Satnav Driving Test

1. Check Your Vehicle - The driving examiner will inspect your vehicle in advance of the test to make sure it’s roadworthy. Since they won’t allow you to continue the test if it’s not, you should do your own inspections before your test.c:br2. Start with Safety Checks - The test doesn’t begin when you’re on the road. It starts as soon as you get into the vehicle. Be sure to buckle your seatbelt and adjust your mirrors as your instructor will factor this into your score.c:br3. Conduct your vehicle with Regard to the Conditions - Don't forget that you shouldn’t always be travelling at the exact speed limit. For instance, if there’s heavy snow or rain when you’re taking your test, you’ll need to slow down. But don’t go too slowly if the driving conditions don’t require it. This can be a hazard for other road users and make you fail the test.

Practise

We like to supply purchasers with a lot of support and help with our products. You will quickly get good at the various routes provided. That said, we of course recommend using someone that is a skilled instructor.

Independent Driving Test

If you veer off the independent driving route, it’s not going to have any effect on your test score except if you make some other driving fault, break a traffic regulation or commit a traffic offence. If you do an incorrect turn, the test examiner will assist you in getting back to the route. Where you have poor or obscure road signs, the test examiner will direct the examinee until such time as they get to the next visible traffic sign. The learner does not need to have a detailed knowledge of the area. You can’t use your own Sat-nav for independent driving, as it gives the learner very detailed prompts. The independent driving part will test if you can effect secure independent decisions.
